want to know a little more about us?

During the long hours of sorority recruitment in 2008, roxannnne and alliemads met and quickly bonded over their love for music [alliemads definitely helped with her constant song & dance of a certain popular song at the time, story to come]. After one random run-in at Chipotle, a beautiful friendship began as they began interning together at a local record label which consisted mostly of dancing to 3OH!3. roxannnne co-hosted RCD on KLMU last year, but is back this time ‘round with her partner-in-crime, alliemads, to make up Daisy Radio. The name is completely random but they liked it and ran with it.  Both alliemads & roxannnne rock out to a wide array of music, so there will always be some surprises on the show! [We’re feeling a Teen Witch moment, TOP THAT!] Tune into Daisy Radio on Monday nights from 8-10PM for a good time [or while scrolling through LMU TV looking for a show to watch] and check out www.daisyradio.tumblr.com for all the latest information on upcoming CD releases, concerts, music reviews, band of the week, and all things music!

alliemads aka Allie Madigan is a junior business major from Phoenix, Arizona, (AZ pride! Woop woop!) who moved to LA with big city dreams of working with music. Unfortunately her dreams of playing in a band will never go further than playing the air drums while driving (let’s hope she doesn’t kill roxannnne during the year, there have been a few close calls!) alliemads thoroughly enjoys snails, green eyeliner, breaking out into song and dance, and being a lady, why? Because she’s a lady.

roxannnne aka Roxanne Majich [my-itch] is a junior psych major born & raised in the City of Angels, CA! (& yes, please do sing roxannnne to the key of the well-known Police song) Her love and passion for music have brought many wonderful things into her life including an embarrassing encounter with La La Land’s own Robert Francis [involving stuttering & a happy dance], answering a phone call from a recently incarcerated rap star (but only for a year, right?) and well…if she shared all the stories now, you wouldn’t call in/listen to the show! On a more serious note, she can’t wait to bring you some rockin’ tunes. It would mean the world to her if you actually called in/listened this year, so her mom & dad won’t be the only listener’s…hahaha

XO
